It’s all in the racket
Badminton is a sport that requires skill and precision. Increased flexibility is an added advantage. However, one important component to success is the choice of the badminton racket. The ideal badminton racket should be light weight, with a weight not exceeding 100 grams. Using a combination of steel aluminum and carbon fiber can help reduce the weight. One should not be overtly economical when it comes to choosing a racket as the lower range rackets are usually heavy and leads to a greater pressure being applied by the arms rather than the wrist. Using the arm instead of the wrist is a wring approach to playing badminton, but this might turn into a habit if one constantly plays with a low priced heavy racket.
