Malaysian Badminton Team land $ 14 million Sponsorship

In one of the biggest sponsorship deals in the world of badminton, the Malaysian badminton team bagged a cool $ 14 million deal from Maybank cash that will be used over a period of 3 years. The president of the badminton federation of Malaysia reportedly said that the cash injection was very much required for them in order to step up their efforts in the pursuit of the elusive Olympic gold in the upcoming London Olympics of 2012. The money will also be used to improve the infrastructure of the facilities that are already available in order to leave no stone unturned as they target Olympic glory.
