Prakash Padukone- Badminton Legend from India

When we look over the Indian badminton history the name of Prakash Padukone comes in first row. He is regarded as one of the greatest badminton player from India. He took birth in Karnataka on 10th of July 1955. In the year 1982, the Indian Government awarded Padukone the Padma Sri for his great achievements. Some his achievements include Canada Commonwealth games, Swedish Open, Danish Open. In 1991, after his retirement, Padukone became the chairman of Indian Badminton Association. He coached the national badminton team in 1996 and 1993. In 2006, he published his own biography. Presently he stays with his wife and daughters in Bangalore.
