Skirt Decree rocks the Badminton World

The world of badminton was recently rocked by the decree enforced by the world badminton federation that it would become compulsory for women players to wear short skirts while playing on court. This was seen as an attempt to do away with the shorts that most Asian players wear. This decision was met by widespread protests, particularly by the Islamic countries who threatened to pull out of the federation of this decree was not revoked and under pressure from the court of arbitration, the federation has suspended this decree but not revoked it. As a result, an imminent break in the federation seems to be imminent with the Asian countries pulling out and forming their own federation.
